Oversight and Monitoring

The areas of challenge, the use of this procedure and the outcomes must be recorded and will be reported to the Darlington Safeguarding Partnership. The details of any professional challenge will be considered by the DSP Learning & Development Group to share learning from the outcomes of professional challenge, as appropriate.

Statistical information about professional challenge and the use of this procedure to address professional challenges, will be reported within the DSP Annual report.  This procedure will be reviewed in light of any feedback provided to the DSP.    

This procedure and guidance does not replace existing Human Resource policies and procedures for dealing with performance issues, capability, disciplinary or grievance procedures that may be in place across all organisations.
