Adult Level 2 - Managing the Safeguarding Concern

All applicants must have already attended Level 1 training.

For those staff who have considerable professional and organisational responsibility for safeguarding Adults at risk of abuse.

Aims and Objectives

• Demonstrate an understanding of action to take if a concern or an allegation of abuse is identified
• Identify what to consider when managing a concern or allegation
• Understand how the six principles of adult safeguarding support managing the concern
• Knowledge of how to use the practice tool
• Discuss and understand how to support the adult at risk and the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal
• Explore and identify ways to keep the adult at risk safe and prevent further abuse
